This book follows the author's previous work 'The Boer War'. Begun by mistake and misunderstanding, the Crimean War continued through an incredible series of blunders, tactical errors and bureaucratic bumbling. B/w photos. B/w illustrations. ISBN: 0575014571. Some browning to cover and page edges. Wrapper is unevenly browned, with some edge-creasing.

Famous Childhoods series. Green boards, gilt title to spine. B/w chapter headers. Minimal bumping to corners. Two names in ink to front endpapers covered with white typing fluid. Dustwrapper is edge torn and creased with minimal loss at corners.
