Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. This novel tells of a childhood at Reachfar, a croft in Ross-shire where Janet lives with her Grandmother, Mother, Uncle and Tom the' hired hand'. Into this peaceful backwater come the Miss Boyds, silly frivolous old-maids. Red cloth boards with gilt titles and small vignette to spine. 283 pages.
SIGNED by author, with location and date, on title page. A little bumping to spine and top corners. A couple of marks to front cover. A few light fox spots to text block. Dustwrapper is edge chipped and torn with some light browning to folds.
