Almost very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Green cloth. Maps on endpapers. B/w textual line drawings. An intensely exciting account of Colonel Corbett's mission to destroy the man-eating leopard which roamed over an area of 500 square miles, bringing terror to local inhabitants.The events occured between 1918 and 1926. First published in India in 1947.
Bumping and wear to spine and corners. A few small holes to cloth on edges. Foxing and page browning. Wrapper is edge-creased with some tears and chips; a bit of loss to spine.
