Marbled endpapers and text block. 203 Wood engravings. 2 volumes in 1 with b/w frontis to both volumes. Boards scuffed and marked. Joints worn, leather starting to crack at joints. Small label stuck to front pastedown. Inscriptions in ink to first blank page. Newspaper cutting re: a bust of Izaak Walton dated 1878 tipped in to rear . A few grubby marks to margins. Some browning. A few pencil annotations. Leather binding is fragile but holding.
