Very good condition. Three volumes bound as one in modern red cloth binding with gilt title 'Britton's Cathedrals' to spine with date of '1814' to base of spine. Contains: The History and the Antiquities of the Cathedral Church of Salisbury 1814; The History and Antiquities of the See and Cathedral Church of Litchfied 1820; The History and Antiquities of The Metropolitical Church of Canterbury 1821. Marbled text block. B/w engravings of views, elevations, plans etc.
First printings, latest date is 1821. A few minor grubby marks to boards which are otherwise bright. Top corner lightly bumped. Some foxing to contents. Binding is lovely and tight. Overall, a decent copy in modern binding.
