Original delineations, topographical, historical and descriptive. Two Volumes. Part I: Shropshire and Somersetshire. Part II: Staffordshire. Three quarter leather binding with blue marbled boards. 5 raised bands to spine. Gilt title to spines and gilt tooling. 31 & 14 plates respectively. Very nice, tight leather binding. Light browning to edge of marbled boards. Spines are lightly faded but gilt is bright. Text block browned on both volumes. Scattered foxing throughout and browning.
Red boards, silver title to spine. Colour frontis. B/w photos. Known locally as 'The Knotty', the North Staffordshire railway was small but a line of character and very much a family concern. ISBN: 0711001286. Spine slightly bumped. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is just a little edge scuffed and slightly faded to spine.
