Very good condition. The Stones of Venice was originally published in 3 volumes between 1851 and 1853. Ruskin believed that the best of Gothic architecture was to be found in Venice. This edition is in beautiful terracotta pictorial cloth with colour plates by Ruskin. xlvi and 350 pages includes index. Edited and Introduced by Jan Morris. Top edge terracotta.
Very light bump to lower front corner of board. Else a lovely copy contained in publisher's slipcase which is worn to one corner and a little scuffed.
