Slightly better than very good condition. The Stones of Venice was originally published in 3 volumes between 1851 and 1853. Ruskin believed that the best of Gothic architecture was to be found in Venice. This edition is in beautiful terracotta pictorial cloth with colour plates by Ruskin. Edited and Introduced by Jan Morris. Top edge terracotta. xlvi and 350 pages includes index.
Headband to top of spine has come unglued from the outer spine. Else a lovely copy contained in publisher's slipcase which is lightly scuffed.
