A Callendar novel. Partly a straight adventure story, partly a study of adolescent psychology and partly a fable of our time. Red/orange mottled boards, silver title to spine. B/w illustrations. Spine bumped and rubbed. Small mark to top edge of front cover. Foxing to endpapers and textblock. Dustwrapper is price-cut by publisher with 'new' (80p) price printed alongside. Wrapper is well worn, rubbed and creased with tears at top of spine.
