The story of a journey into the hears of the Russians and into the hears of places visited, from Moscow to Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara, Baku and Tbilisi, Kiev, and Moscow to Siberia and back. Blue cloth baords, gilt title to spine. Folding map to rear. Spine lightly browned. Text block browned. Contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is browned, grubby, edge-rubbed, repaired/strengthend to verso with brown paper tape.
