10th Lone Pine book. Beige boards with green titles, top edge green. Endpapers are maps. Spine slightly bumped with slight fading and a foxspot to base of spine. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is complete, just a little edge rubbed, creased and torn (minor) and some very slight scuffing to rear panel.

- In this story the Mortons - David and the twins Dickie and Mary - are joined by Jon and Penny Warrender, from Rye. They make a new friend in Harriet Sparrow, who soon acclimatizes herself to the fantastic goings - on of the Lone Piners and proves herself of great assistance in this adventure where they clash again with their old enemies, Miss Ballinger and Slinky Grandon. And of course Macbeth, the Scottie lends his valuable aid.
