US edition. Green cloth with gilt titles to front and spine, small blind vignette to front cover. Green and white decorated endpapers. 12 tipped-in colour plates mounted on captioned paper, some b/w text illustrations. 287 pages. Spine is bumped and worn; slight fraying to nicks at top of spine. Damp patches along cover edge to front cover; smaller amount along rear edge. A few other marks to covers. Foxing and page browning to outer page edges. Tipped-in plates themselves are in fine condition; however, a few marks to pages they are tipped-in on.

10th Lone Pine book. Beige boards with green titles, top edge green. Endpapers are maps. Spine and corners very slightly bumped. A few small, light brown spots to covers. Small brown marks to endpapers and textblock but generally contents clean. Price-cut wrapper is slightly edge worn, masking tape has been stuck to top and tail of spine, corners and folds on verso. The tape has browned with age and is now visible on front of dustwrapper.
