Red cloth, black title to spine. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. Covers are bowed with fading to spine and edges; bumping at corners. Name in ink to front endpaper. Some browning and foxing, mostly to outer page edges.
The eighth of the Adventure series. Cream pictorial boards. B/w pictures. 277 pages. 8 x 5". Spine is faded. Cover edges are faded, from what looks like some damp marking. Grubby marks and some foxing to endpapers and outer page edges.
Yellow boards, red titles. Includes Mischief At St Rollo's and Children of Kidillin. Junior Story Books series. Foxing and browning to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is edge-creased with a few small closed tears; minimal loss.

Reindeer Books series. "Be ready tomorrow eveneing sighned l. for Leader" was the puzzling message John found fixed to an arrow which had been shot at the window of his new home. Pictorial boards. B/w illustrations. 120 pages. Covers edge worn. Foxing to endpapers and textblock. Contents are grubby, erased pencil markings to front free-endpaper.
