Almost very good condition. Front cover shows Rupert pulling small boy out of hole in road. Pale green pictorial boards, red cloth spine. Front cover states that there are 200 cut-outs and five stories. (Later reprints had 120 cut-outs and four stories). This edition states it Contains Rupert in Trouble Again; Rupert and the Old Man of the Sea; Rupert the Witch and Tabitha; Rupert and the Wilful Princess; Rupert Goes Hiking. However, One story is MISSING (published and bound this way) - Missing Rupert, The Witch and Tabitha, it also has 132 cut-outs (NOT the stated 200 or later 120). An early reprint!
Spine is unevenly faded and marked. Bumping and wear to cover edges. A few scuff marks. Foxing and browning to outer page edges. No cut-outs have been cut out from book. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. An early reprint.
