Red and yellow paper wraps. 10 b/w pictures to colour and trace including the Wise Goat, Dapple the pony and Princess Annabel. 8 x 9.25". Top corner tip of front cover has been torn off. Colouring to the Rupert illustration on front cover. Staples rusty. The tracing pages have been used and there is colouring to two of the illustrations.

Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers slightly edge rubbed. Spine slightly faded with a few small marks. Name and date in belongs to box. A couple of tiny margins tears. Contents clean.

Creases to spine and some chipping/slight loss to top and tail. The film to the mermaid scene has been removed. Pop-ups appear to be in good working order. Some hinges cracked. Some light fingermarks to page margins.

One of Mary Tourtel's first books before she went on to create Rupert Bear! Dumpy Books For Children series No. 10. Small format. Green cloth with dark green titles and stripes. Colour pictures with text facing, printed on one side of the paper only. A delightful little book! Foxing and browning to covers, with some uneven fading. Small nick to cloth at base of spine. Front joint is a bit cracked. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing and browning. A few hinges are a little pulled.
