Very good condition. Coloured pictorial boards and red cloth spine, cover background mainly blue, front cover shows Rupert and Edward on swings with the Nutwood friends. 25mm thick. Two-tone text illustrations. (Originally published 1938 with pictorial spine).
Spine bumped, corners bumped and worn. Some slight lifting of surface paper at spine edge of front cover. Inscription in ink and name and address in belongs to box on front pastedown. Some colouring to the painting pages. Two patches of surface paper damage to rear pastedown. Light page browning to contents.
