In its time Hornby Dublo was undoubtedly one of the finest miniature railway systems to evolve in the United Kingdom. First introduced in 1938, the little diecast-bodied locomotives, in particular, set new standards in miniature railway modelling for the time. They became so successful that they eventually ousted the legendary Hornby gauge system from the Hornby range. Large oblong format.
