Revised edition. The story of the perfect table railway. Large oblong format. Colour and b/w photos. 416 pages. The history of Hornby Dublo 1938-1964 forms Volume 3 of The Hornby Companion Series. In its time Hornby Dublo was undoubtedly one of the finest miniature railway systems to evolve in the United Kingdom. First introduced in 1938, the little diecast-bodied locomotives, in particular, set new standards in miniature railway modelling for the time. They became so successful that they eventually ousted the legendary Hornby gauge system from the Hornby range. Including additional 16 page full colour section as commissioned by the Hornby Railway Collectors Association. ISBN: 0904568180. A lovely copy.
