Almost very good condition. Essex Field Club Special Memoirs Vol II. Red cloth boards, black titles and owl vignette to front. 162 woodcut illustrations, two plans and a frontispiece. Chapters include Hawks & Hawking; Wild Fowl Decoys and Wild-Fowling.

SIGNED by author to verso of front endpaper ('with the author's kind regards'). Boards marked, spine faded and frayed at top. Corners a little worn. Joints starting to crack. Text block browned. Foxing to prelims. Hinges pulled but binding tight. A few marks to ontents mainly to margins. Contents are lightly browned.
