Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. Brown cloth with silver title to spine. This railway line enjoyed one of the briefest lives of any British main line railway. But in its 26 years, from 1899-1923, it developed into what the author describes as 'one of the smartest, best-run and most punctual railways in the whole kingdom'. B/w photos.
Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is edge-creased with a few small nicks and chips; a little fading.
