Good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. This is the story of Dara Mac Dara, a tinker boy. He lives in a caravan with his mother Maura, a fortune-teller. One morning Dara goes to school with Tessa Nolan and so begins a friendship that eventually leads to Tessa's family realising there are good tinkers as well as bad. Green boards with gilt titles to spine. Colour frontis with b/w text illustrations. 182 pages.
Badly ex library with stamps and labels to endpapers and publishers page. Name of primary school blocked out in heavy black marker to endpapers. Surface paper damage to rear pastedown where dustwrapper was taped down. Minimal foxing to text block. Some creasing to bottom of last few pages and a couple of small tears. Dustwrapper is creased to spine. A couple of grubby marks to rear panel. It is partially stuck at rear flap to plastic covering which was put on dustwrapper at Cape Library. Plastic Covering has blind writing to spine.
