Almost very good condition. De Luxe Limited Edition of 500 numbered copies, signed by the author. Bevelled boards. Heavy duty cloth boards with gilt titles and colour pattern. Top edge gilt. 75 tissue-guarded colour plates. xiii and 239 numbered pages.

SIGNED by the author (no dedication) and numbered 238 (of 500). Boards grubby and stained, rear edge of spine has a small patch of cloth fraying.Joints cracked, rear endpaper missing. Binding of first few pages weak and will possibly disintegrate further so that the pages are loose. Binding glue drying out and thus a few weak spots. A few foxspots throughout. All plates present and clean.
