Saunderson Miller (1716-80) was a gentleman architect, an amateur pioneer of significance in the development of the Gothic Revival during its delightful and inventive Georgian period. This volume contains the fully annotated text of Miller's diaries of 1750-1756, a self-revelatory Memoir he wrote fo his friend, James Menteath, and a catalogue of his architectural and landscape work.
