Slightly better than good condition. Dark blue cloth with gilt title to spine, gilt borders and decoration of spider's web and dragonfly to front. 15 beautiful colour plates plus b/w drawings. All edges gilt.
Book has been rebacked retaining original spine cloth. Heavy wear to corners. Front cover darkened, rear cover a little grubby and scuffed. Bookplate to front pastedown. Ink inscription to half-title page. Small tears to bottom edges of prelims and bottom corner tip missing from title page. Foxing, light browning and a few marks to contents.
