Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Serena Hamble and her friend Jeannie Wright got to visit Serena's Aunt Georgie at her big Welsh home, Craigwen House. Georgie offers free holidays to people who need and deserve them but couldn't otherwise afford them. Jennie finds these guests in turn pathetic, lonely and often puzzling and mysterious. Green boards with black titles to spine. B/w illustrations. 160 pages.
Spine and corners bumped and worn. Foxing to endpapers and page edges otherwise contents generally clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with tears and some creasing. Foxing to panels and verso. Rear panel is grubby.
