Bumping to spine and corners. Damp mark to bottom of boards. Some white marks to rear board. Red marks to bottom of front and rear boards from damp. Erased writing to front endpaper. Light foxing to endpapers and page edges. Bottom of text block is rubbed and marked. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some small tears, some of which have been mended on verso with tape. Creasing to rear panel. Damp marks which are more visible on verso. Red marks also to verso.

  • Starting in Guiana, and obtaining an aircraft in lieu of missing salary payments, the story follows the team's adventures as they take a roundabout route back to England. The adventures find them searching for Gold on the orinoco, rescuing a woman from Peruvian bandits, helping another escape from the law, searching for rare orchids, pearls, shipwrecks, etc. The journey takes them across the Pacific, to Australia, and then home across asia.
