  • The Cruise of the Condor finds Biggles on the trail of Inca gold deep in the heart of the Amazon basin. Following a surprise visit to Biggle's Uncle Dickpa, they find him in a siege situation with a group of gold thieves. Escaping from that the trio, with Smyth along for good measure, travel to the Amazon to uncover a lost Inca village, chock full of gold and manuscripts. After a couple of scrapes with the bad guys they manage to snag a couple of souvenirs before an earth tremor causes a hasty departure....
