Very good condition. Large format. Grey cloth with gilts title to spine and front cover, which also has an oval pictorial onlay. 20 lovely tipped-in colour plates mounted on cream paper with captioned tissue-guards. 483 pages. This edition comes in an original cardboard box with oval pictorial onlay to top and dark writing.
A few small white marks to top corner of front cover. Foxing to endpapers, outer page edges and some pages throughout (varying degrees of darkness). Original box is browned with marks; bottom part is still fully intact. Top has 2 splits to 2 corners and scuffing; some surface paper damage. Overall still a very good copy of this edition.
