Almost very good condition. Three-quarters red leather binding, 5 raised bands to spine, gilt title on green title block to spine. Marbled boards, endpapers and text block. 8 b/w plates including frontis. 277 pages.
Light rubbing to edges of leather, spine lightly browned, boards lightly scuffed. Front joint just starting to crack. Frontispiece has been cut out (trimmed around outline of The Woburn Beech) and stuck down on to plate. Some browning and foxing to contents, heavy to prelims and first few pages. Overall, a decent copy.
