Good condition. Large, oblong format, 12 x 9". Green cloth spine with gilt title, pictorial front board shows one child pulling another in a cart. 30 full-page colour illustrations with a verse on the page opposite. Pages printed on one side only.
Spine is badly damaged, splits along both sides with slight fraying, some loss from ends. Also browned. Heavy wear to corners and cover edges with some chipping to edges to top layer. Covers rubbed and a bit grubby. Front joint cracked next to half-title, some cracking to paper covering joint on front endpapers. Large pencil child's writing to front endpaper. Some brown marks to front joint by title page, feels like something has been stuck there previously. Some hinges cracked causing contents to feel loose. Contents are lightly edge browned with just a few marks and margin tears.
