No. 917. Pictorial front cover shows boy pushing girl in a wheelbarrow. 5 colour pop-up scenes. B/w text illustrations. This copy is SOLD WITH ALL FAULTS (too numerous to mention them all). Corners worn. Spine bumped and slightly rubbed. Remains of a small label to top corner of front cover. Rear cover is scuffed. Birthday greeting card stuck to front free-endpaper. Some pages are loose with ragged edges. All pop-ups in need of repairs and possibly have pieces missing. Slight grubby fingermarks to page margins. A very scarce book.
Red spine and pictorial front board showing a boy and girl with a dog playing in the snow, Colour frontis plus b/w illustrations. Story by L.T. Meade is Snowflake. List of Nister books to rear endpaper and pastedown. Nister book No. 1803. Wear to lower edge of boards exposing surface paper. Boards a little grubby. Gift inscription in ink to front pastedown. Foxing and grubby marks throughout. One page torn at gutter edge and repaired with clear tape (not unsightly).
Nister book No. 3817. 'Our Darlings' series. Nursery Rhymes. Cloth spine, pictorial front board shows a red clothed elf and a little girl wearing a green spotted dress and a Dutch bonnet, riding on a broomstick. Tipped in colour frontis plus numerous b/w line drawings. Front board clean and bright, rear board a little grubby and stained, rubbed at vertical edge. Binding is fragile and loosening with some hinges pulled wide. Prize plate to front pastedown. Name in ink to top margin of frontis (not affecting frontispiece illustration in anyway). Foxing and grubby marks throughout.
Cloth spine, pictorial front board, stiff card pages each with a rhyme and colour illustration. Oblong format. Heavy bumping and wear to spine and corners; some chipping. Scuffing to covers. Browning and foxing to some pages; a few creases. Binding starting to become a bit weak in places.

With Spaces for Names for Every Day in the Year. Small format. Blue cloth spine. Pictorial boards. 12 chromolithograph illustrations. Boards a little scuffed. Inscription in pencil to brown front endpaper which is also creased. Some hinges pulled. A few entries in ink.

Small format (13 x 10.5cm). Pictiorial cardwraps. Full-page colour illustrations plus double-spread centre fold. Unpaginated, 14 pages. Staples rusty. Rear cover a little grubby. Some light spotting to a couple of pages. Light margin marks to centre pages. Contents are otherwise very good. This copy would make a wonderful gift.

No. 4321. Cloth spine, pictorial front board. Pretty full-page colour (chromolithograph) plates and b/w text illustrations. An anthology of stories and verse. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers edge rubbed, rear cover lightly scratched. Inscription in ink to verso of front free-endpaper which is visible to front of endpaper. Light page browning and fingering. One of the b/w illustrations has been neatly coloured in.
Brown cloth spine, pictorial front board showing boy and girl with canaries. Mounted colour frontis, b/w text illustrations. Spine slightly bumped and corners lightly rubbed. Some page page browning and some light fingermarks to page margins. A very light musty smell to contents.
An Album for Autographs, and Original and Selected Verses. Flowers culled from Friendship's Garden, With an Introduction by Waithman. Oblong format 7.5 x 10". Dark blue/green cloth covers with gilt titles and floral decoration. Colour illustration of flowers with verse to every other page, brown and white illustration around box to page in between. Space to write on both pages. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Covers slightly grubby/darkened. Front joint starting to crack next to half-title page. Browning, some foxing and an odd mark to contents but no writing.
The Playtime Series. Cloth spine, oval on front cover shows three children on gate, goose below, daisies in corners, red and green titles. Colour frontis plus b/w illustrations. No. 3404 Spine bumped and worn. Heavy wear to corners. Covers a bit grubby. Joints cracked, rear one badly. Prize plate to front pastedown. One hinge cracked. Some light foxing, browning and an odd mark to contents.
