Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Red cloth. Limited to 1000 copies. B/w illustrations. Valentine Morris was born in the island of Antigua in 1727 but lived for 30 years at the Piercefield, part of which is now Chepstow racecourse. Light scratch mark to front board (minor). Endpapers browned, minor foxing to text block and some page margins else contents clean. White pictorial dustwrapper is scuffed, a little grubby, a little worn at top of spine.

Contents clean. Green & white dustwrapper is grubby & scuffed, rubbed at corners, top front corner repaired with a white label to front and masking tape to rear.

Italian translated into English by James Emmons. A couple of tiny marks to front endpapers else a fine copy. Dustwrapper is edge rubbed and lightly browned. Contained in a blue slipcase with 'made in Switzerland' printed to spine. Fading to edges of slipcase.
