Larger format. Red leather spine with gilt title. Red cloth covers. Limited edition to 100 copies numbered and signed by the author. Colour and b/w plates and illustrations. SIGNED by author to verso of title page. This is Copy No. 23. Some wear to cover edges; a little fading. A couple of grubby, what look like finger marks to rear cover. Foxing and browning to varying degrees throughout the book.

Pale green cloth covers with dark green titles to spine. 2 colour plates plus numerous b/w illustrations. 119 pages. Published for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. Spine bumped and worn with very split to top edge. Corners worn. Covers a bit grubby. Front joint is partially broken between frontis and title page. Rear joint starting to crack. Name in ink to front endpaper. Crease and small edge tear to page 85/86. Small brown spot to lower edge of text block affects bottom edge of a few pages. A little foxing.
