Blue cloth covers, blue title to spine. Colour frontis, b/w illustrations. 288 pages Fading to top and tail of spine. Corners are bumped. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is edge-torn with over 1" loss to base of spine and smaller pieces of loss to other edges. Is also creased and damp marked.

Dustwrapper is worn and chipped at edges, damp stain to top edge of front panel and to centre of rear panel.

A few hinges pulled. Some foxing, mainly to outer page edges else contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge chipped with small patch of loss to top edge of front panel, grubby on rear panel. Tape repairs on verso to edges and folds. A little of the transfer sticker has transferred to the front flap of the dustwrapper.
