Lundy & North Devon in the 18th century. An account of the career of a merchant of the 18th century; a man no better and, perhaps, no worse than his contemporaries, who traded from a small port in Devonshire, but whose name became known throughout the land, Thomas Benson. Pictorial cardwrap booklet with staple binding. A few b/w drawings. 75 pages. Edges lightly rubbed, spine lightly faded to rear. Staples are rusting with some bleeding but still firm. Tiny foxspots to text block.

Includes 2 page letter from the author to the recipient. Fading to rear board. Foxing and browning to text block. Dustwrapper is lightly edge-worn with a few closed tears, is a little scuffed and is grubby to rear panel.
