The author is a spinner and woodworker who built his first wheel for $1.98, using materials he found around the house. "All that's needed is a bit of woodworking skill, or lacking that, a strong desire to build your own spinning wheel for under $25." This book contains a complete materials list; clear large plans; thre design variations; and simple instructions. Grey pictorial staple bound paperwraps. B/w illustrations and diagrams. 32 pages. ISBN: 0913664065. Top corner of front cover chipped. Covers are browned and grubby. Text block browned. Some foxing to contents and some grubby marks. A good reading copy, well used.
