Almost very good condition.
Magnificent b/w plate for each animal along with a paragraph of text on each. Large format. Green boards and spine, front shows a pair of shire(?) horses. Spine rebacked with green cloth keeping most of the original title-strip. Corners worn and some slight scuffing to covers. Endpapers professionally replaced. Some light fingering else contents clean.

Cloth spine, grey boards with gilt titles and vignette. 8 tipped-in colour plates with tissue guards and mounted on pale green paper (each plate is 3.25 x 2.25"). 91 pages. Top edge gilt, others untrimmed. Spine browned. Corners worn. Covers grubby. Front and rear joints just starting to crack.
