Good condition.
A personal narrative of life at sea. Attractive blue cloth with gilt titles and decoration, pictorial onlay to front. Colour plates with captioned tissue-guards. Top edge gilt. 415 pages plus 5 page catalogue to rear. Spine and corners bumped and worn with gilt faded to spine. Scuffing of pictorial onlay to front. Light damp(?) stain to edge of rear cover. Name in ink to front endpaper. Bookworm damage(3 small holes) to front joint which is cracked. Some browning and fingering to contents which are generally clean. Embossed "presentation copy" stamp to title-page. 2 tissue guards missing.

Brown illustrated cloth covers. 9 colour plates plus b/w illustrations. 397 pages. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Browning to endpapers. Some page browning and foxing, including to margin of plates, otherwise contents are clean. A couple of hinges are cracked.

Delightfully illustrated yellow cloth covers. Brown endpapers. 9 colour tissue-guarded plates and other b/w illustrations. 397pp + 2pp adverts. Spine and corners bumped. Covers grubby and illustration to front is a bit rubbed. Name plate to front pastedown, name in ink to verso of frontis, name address and date in ink to title-page. Some fingermarks else contents clean.
