A "King of the Commandos" adventure. Blue cloth, black titles. B/w pictures. 4 b/w plates. 189 pages. Spine and corners very slightly bumped and rubbed. A couple of very light faded spots to lower edges of covers. Name in ink to front endpaper. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is worn at corners with tears to top and tail of spine, piece missing to lower corner of front panel.

Grey boards, red/orange title to spine. Colour frontis. Biggles faces eight diverse cases. EX-LIB with usual stamps and labels. Old tape marks to pastedowns and to front and rear joints. Front joint broken, held in place with masking tape. First few pages are 'out of place' (2mm lower than the rest of the pages). Foxing to textblock. Some light fingermarks to prelims, contents otherwise clean. Spine and corners bumped. Some old tape marks to covers. Dustwrapper is edge rubbed and lightly creased.

Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper and heavy pencil name an address to same page (this has been partially erased but the is still evident). Textblock slightly grubby else contents clean. Price-cut wrapper is worn, front flap was detached and now re-attached with tape on verso, other tape repairs on verso as well.
