Green cloth, gilt titles and vignettes to front and spine. All edges gilt. B/w illustrations throughout. Grey/brown endpapers. 284 pages + adverts. 7.5 x 5" Covers and spine darkened. Some joint cracked. Faint inscription to front endpaper. Contents a bit foxed but generally clean.

Randolph Caldecott
Randolph Caldecott (; 22 March 1846 – 12 February 1886) was a British artist and illustrator, born in Chester. The Caldecott Medal was named in his honour. He exercised his art chiefly in book illustrations. His abilities as an artist were promptly and generously recognised by the Royal Academy.
