Stories and poems. First story is The Wizard's Ring. Pictorial front board showing Granny with two girls. Edited by Vredenburg. Red cloth spine. Colour frontis with b/w and two tone illustrations. Father Tuck's "Golden Gift" series. Spine bumped. Wear to corners and cover edges. Rear cover slightly grubby. Name and date in pencil and small red marks with small patches of surface paper damage to front pastedown. Outside edge of front endpaper and frontis creased and nicked. A couple of hinges cracked. Endpapers and contents browned with a couple of marks.

Father Tuck's Children's Own Library series. Stories in Prose and Verse. Cloth spine, pictorial covers, front shows two children with rake and armfuls of weeds, rear shows girl with swans. Colour frontis, two tone and b/w illustrations. First story: The Welsh Fire Dragon. Spine bumped, small holes along rear edge, also slightly darkened. Bumping and wear to corners and cover edges. Covers a bit grubby with light scratches and small spots of surface paper damage. Name and date to front endpaper. Pencil writing to frontis, pencil underlining of text on one page and erased pencil words on a few pages and rear endpapers. Some fingering and a few marks to contents.

First story is "The Goose Step". Stains to both bottom corners and top edge of rear cover. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Rear cover is mottled. Inscription in ink to top edge of front endpaper. Browning to endpapers and page edges. One hinge cracked. Light creasing to top inside corner of all pages. Just an odd mark to contents.

Large format. Red cloth spine with black titles and black vignette, pictorial front board shows small girl riding on shoulders of older girl. Advert to rear cover. Blue pictorial endpapers. Colour plates, two-tone and b/w text illustrations. Spine bumped with a few small, light marks. Wear to corners and cover edges. Rear cover slightly grubby. Paper covering rear joint split for 1" at top and bottom. Nick to outside edge of front endpaper. Dated ink inscription to verso of frontis. A couple of hinges cracked. Brown mark, mostly to inner margins of two pages, one of which is a two-tone illustration page. A few fox spots and fingermarks but generally clean otherwise.

Erased writing and faint ticks to both endpapers and verso of frontis. Pencil writing about contents to front endpaper. Some light foxing and a few marks to contents but most pages are clean. All plates present.
