A Tale of the Siege of Rhodes. Dark green and gilt pictorial cloth. 12 b/w plates plus portrait of Henty and a plan. 392 pages plus 32 pages catalogue. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn, small nicks to top and tail of spine. Some erased pencil doodles to front pastedown. Name and date in ink to half-title. Hinges cracked and some fingermarks to page margins. Endpapers browned.

A trip to Brazil was an unexpected pleasure in the summer holidays. However when they got there they discovered that their host, Brian Mauleverer had disappeared. Peach boards. Colour frontis and b/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped. Some marks to back cover. Covers generally grubby. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to endpapers and text block.

Pictorial endpapers depicting events in the reigns of the Edwards of England. 12 colour plates. B/w illustrations including Louis Wain cats. Corners and some board edges bumped and rubbed. Top and bottom of spine are bumped. Cloth split to front of top of spine with small tear to top of word 'annual'. Some cloth missing to top and bottom of spine which is browned. Front joint is cracked. Browning and a little foxing to endpapers. Three tissue guards are missing from colour plates. Some page browning and foxing to contents which are generally clean.
