SHAKESPEARE'S COMEDY OF THE TEMPEST
Written by William Shakespeare.
Illustrated by Edmund Dulac.
Stock no. 1318102
Published by Hodder & Stoughton.
1919.
Good condition.
Large format. Blue cloth, gilt titles with gilt vignette. 40 tissue-guarded tipped in colour plates. xxiv and 143 pages. Unfortunately the spine, rear cover and lower spine corner of front cover have been 'touched up' with some kind of blue ink (no idea why - sorry). There is a light damp stain to the edge of the front cover. One plate has a couple of tiny edge chips and another has a tiny piece of surface paper rubbing. There is some foxing to the contents. If it wasn't for the 'touching up' of the covers this would be a very good copy.
