Very good condition in a fair dustwrapper.
Red cloth with black titles to spine and front cover. Colour frontis. Darkening to spine. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Pictorial wrapper has a few inch piece of loss to bottom of spine and is edge-chipped and torn in other places, with smaller loss.

Original blue pictorial cloth. 3 colour plates, numerous b/w illustrations. 63 pages. Front cover slightly bowed, spine & corners lightly rubbed, front cover lightly marked. Name in ink to verso of frontis plus inscription in pencil to half-title page. Joints and some hinges cracked. One colour plate detached with ragged edges. A few grubby marks and some light damp stains to margins but generally contents are clean.
