12 enchanting tipped-in colour plates. Green cloth, gilt titles and decorations. 240 pages. Large format. Published for Boots the Chemist. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed, front edge of spine has been 'touched up' with green felt-tip(?) pen. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing and some light fingering else contents clean. Lower corner of half-title torn off and there is a large tear to page 51/2 which has been tape repaired (old tape has left brown mark), affecting page margin only. One tissue-guard is missing but all plates are present and in fine condition.

Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn, corner crease to front flap. Removal of label from front panel has caused a little surface paper damage, a couple of marks to rear panel.

Blue cloth with elaborate gilt decorations and titles. 20 beautiful colour plates mounted on grey card with captions below. Verses arranged by Mabel and Lilian Quiller-Couch. Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. Gilt to spine has dulled. Name in ink to front endpaper. Joint between fly-leaf and title-page is cracked causing frontispiece to be missing in this copy. Page edges are ragged from rough opening during binding process.

Very good condition.
Deluxe, limited to 500 copies. Large format (32 x 26cm). White vellum binding with gilt titles and vignettes. 30 lovely tipped-in colour plates mounted on cream card with green decorative borders and captioned paper guards. Top edge gilt, others untrimmed. SIGNED by the artist, this is copy no. 304. Spine and corners are slightly bumped and slightly grubby. Ties missing. Name plate to front pastedown. There is slight bookworm or silverfish damage to the front endpaper and some slight foxing to contents but generally a very nice copy.

Almost very good condition.
Telling the story of Pickles the puppy who is always getting into a pickle! Large format. Brick red cloth spine, with gilt title. Green cloth covers with orange and gilt titles. 24 delightful colour plates. Spine and corners slightly bumped. Very light mark to front cover else covers clean. Couple of tiny holes to spine. Front joint is partially cracked. Inscription in ink to half-title page. Some foxing, mostly to endpapers and prelims. Plates are bright and clean. Guards at gutter edges are worn in places and coming unglued. Plate XII has a green scuff vertically to verso (not affecting the illustration). Plate XVI is edge-worn. A few small closed edge tears to margins. Rear endpaper has been repaired at edges with magic tape and has one other closed tear. Despite faults this is a decent copy of a rare Aldin title.
