Foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is worn and torn with some loss at edges, spine is very slightly grubby.

Covesr edge rubbed, spine bumped. Slight fading to spine and spine edge of rear cover, black mark to centre of spine. Light foxing to textblock. Name in ink and ink address stamp to front free-endpaper. Condition sounds much worse than it really is!

Green cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. 87 numbered pages. ISBN: 0340196149. SIGNED by the author (TWICE). Once as a gift dedication to free front endpaper and once with no dedication to the top of the title page. Top of spine is bumped which means the contents are also creassed to top gutter edge throughout. Tape stuck to front pastedown and a small patch of surface paper loss where some tape has been removed. Contents are clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is faded to spine, rubbed at corners, lightly creased and a little grubby to rear panel.
