Pictorial boards, colour plates. B/w illustrations. First story is 'The Witch's Cottage' by Ierne L. Plunket. Board edges worn, a few corners bumped. Presentation plate to front pastedown. Some light browning to verso of frontis. A few light foxspots to contents. Contents are tight. A little chipping to edges of wrapper, with some foxing and grubby marks - but nice and complete!

Large format. Blue cloth spine. Colour pictorial boards showing little gipsy character with horse and wagon. 6 vividly coloured plates plus b/w text illustrations. Book: Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Front joint cracked. Endpapers browned. Plates superb. Matching pictorial stiff card wrapper is edge-chipped, has a scratch to front, a few grubby marks and is rubbed at folds. Exceptionally rare in original wrapper.
