Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Cream cloth, large pictorial onlay to spine and front board, front board shows boy cooking over an open fire whilst girl is passing sticks for fire. First story is 'The Griffins' by Florence Harrison. Colour frontis shows 'The Brownie Gets His Cream'. Colour & b/w illustrations. Boards clean, worn at corners. Name in ink to front pastedown. A few minor foxspots and light marks to margins. Colour plate "She bore away from the danger" has been neatly trimmed away on bottom margin (about an inch missing) but still bears the title of the plate and has a few small closed tears to vertical edge. Pictorial wrapper has neat inscription in ink to front panel, is edge-worn and has loss at edges. Overall, still a decent copy.

Purple and yellow pictorial boards. Colour and b/w illustrations throughout. The fifth book in the chronicles of this legendary small boy. ISBN: 0192795643. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Bottom of boards also rubbed. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Some light foxing mainly to endpapers. Pale browning to some pages else contents are cleam. Dustwrapper has piece missing at top. Large tear to front panel and smaller tear to rear. Edge worn with small tears and foxing to rear.

Triffeny joins the family pottery firm and rather unexpectedly becomes an asset to the business in more ways than one... Brown cloth, silver title to spine and small vignette of a squirrel to front cover. B/w text illustrations. 275 pages. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Large initials in ink to base of spine. Front endpaper is MISSING and front joint is cracked and repaired with tape. Foxing. Some tape marks to rear endpapers. Wrapper is unevenly faded with edge-tears and chips; some loss and grubby marks.
