Almost very good condition.
Large format. Red cloth spine, pictorial boards, front shows little boy loading toy cart with apples. First story is "The Snowy Day". Lovely colour pictures throughout. Includes "Nursery Rhyme ABC". Spine is unevenly faded with some brown spots. Wear to cover edges. A few grubby margin marks.

A collection of short stories for children. First story is 'The Butterfly Hunters' by Cicely M. Drury. Blue pictorial paper boards showing young boy in his sailor outfit carrying a toy boat with a young girl in yellow dress holding hook and terrier on leash. B/w illustrations, colour plates. Edges rubbed, corners worn. 0.25" loss to top of spine affecting title, base of spine split to either side. Large inscription in ink to front pastedown has imprinted on to half-title page. Contents clean.
