Good condition. Blue pictorial cloth, gilt titles. Pictorial endpapers. Colour frontis plus numerous b/w text and full-page illustrations. A book written in 1915 "for the amusement of my wife and myself at a time when life was not very amusing" - A.A. Milne. Originally published in 1917 with illustrations by H.M. Brock. 269 pages.
Spine and corners bumped. Fading to spine and covers slightly grubby. Name and address in ink to front endpaper, a couple of small ink marks to endpapers. Rear joint was broken(?) now repaired, not a professional repair but quite neat. Heavy foxing to prelims and last few pages, some grubby marks to page margins.
