Very good condition.
Large format. Pictorial cardwrap calendar, which is bound together with blue cord through punched holes at top. One and two colour illustrations, with a verse for each month of the year. A few grubby brown marks to covers and a few light marks internally. Couple of months have markings to them, where calendar was used in 1930! 'April' has tear to one hole at top - so now only attached by the one hole. A scarce item!

Blue pictorial cloth, gilt titles. Pictorial endpapers. Colour frontis plus numerous b/w text and full-page illustrations. A book written in 1915 "for the amusement of my wife and myself at a time when life was not very amusing" - A.A. Milne. Originally published in 1917 with illustrations by H.M. Brock. 269 pages. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Covers grubby. Top corner of front free-endpaper has been neatly removed. Front joint cracked (between endpaper and half-title). Foxing to contents. Some hinges cracked causing contents to be a little loose.

Delightful rhymes and illustrations. Blue cloth with gilt title to spine and vignettes to front cover. Cream pictorial endpapers. B/w text illustrations. Top edge gilt. Spine is faded, with some bumping, also to corners. Name and date in ink to verso of front endpaper. Page edge browning, a few light foxspots.

Bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges; some scuffing. Inscription in ink, partially crossed out to front endpaper. Browning and foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is creased and grubby with some large tears and chips; some small pieces of loss.
