Large format. Blue cloth with black titles and colour pictorial onlay to front cover. 12 pretty colour plates. 105 pages. Corners rubbed, lower edges bumped, a few minor marks to boards. Foxing throughout also affecting the plates. All plates are present. One hinge pulled. Couple of plates a little ragged at the edges.

First story is about a clever rabbit who wished to become heir to the throne... Second story is about a lovely princess who never laughed. Pictorial boards. 10 x 8". Colour and b/w illustrations. Bumping to spine and corners. Foxing to outer page edges and endpapers. Wrapper is edge-creased with a few chips and nicks; foxed with grubby marks to rear panel.
Orange cloth. Pictorial endpapers. 8 coloured plates. Shepard's delightful and familiar line illustrations throughout. A compilation of "When We Were Very Young", first published in 1924, and "Now we are Six" first published in 1927, published together this edition. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Old tape marks to endpapers and some slight surface paper damage to front pastedown. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some foxing.

B/w text illustrations by the famous Pooh Bear illustrator, E.H.Shepard. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Small nick to lower edge of front cover. Endpapers lightly browned. Name in pencil to front free-endpaper. Some light fingering to page margins. Dustwrapper was in two pieces, now repaired with tape on verso of spine. Tape repairs also to verso of flaps. Wrapper is grubby.

Contents are generally still very good.

Bookplate to verso of front endpaper. Foxing/browning to outer page edges; some margin marks. Page margin tears to a few pages. Contents are still generally very good.
The first in the Milne Pooh quartet in which we meet Winnie-The-Pooh for the first time in the Teddy Bear, poem 'A bear, however hard he tries, Grows tubby without exercise...' Delightful rhymes and illustrations. Blue cloth with gilt title to spine and vignettes to front cover. Cream pictorial endpapers. B/w text illustrations. Top edge gilt. Spine and corners bumped and worn, small dents to lower edges of covers. Endpapers lightly browned. Some hinges cracked. Light fingermarks to page margins and one page (18) has a small ink stain to lower margin.
Large format. Pictorial cardwrap calendar, which is bound together with blue cord through punched holes at top. One and two colour illustrations, with a verse for each month of the year. A few grubby brown marks to covers and a few light marks internally. Couple of months have markings to them, where calendar was used in 1930! 'April' has tear to one hole at top - so now only attached by the one hole. A scarce item!

A book written in 1915 "for the amusement of my wife and myself at a time when life was not very amusing" - A.A. Milne. Originally published in 1917 with illustrations by H.M. Brock. 269 pages. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Covers grubby. Top corner of front free-endpaper has been neatly removed. Front joint cracked (between endpaper and half-title). Foxing to contents. Some hinges cracked causing contents to be a little loose.
